Welcome to Guildford Grove

Guildford Grove is a two-form entry primary school, with a maintained nursery, and a Specialist Centre for deaf children. Our school opened in September 2001 in an extensively refurbished and extended school building.

A video of Lighthouse children releasing their butterflies this morning. They arrived during STEMweek and all of the children across the school have been keeping a very close eye on them to observe the life cycleand were very excited to watch them fly into the wild @guildfordgrove https://t.co/9nF4EfQtBX
Congratulations to our Lighthouse pupils who took part in the Home Counties Panathlon Challenge at Stoke Mandeville Stadium. The children loved all of the different activities and were excited to meet deaf children from different schools. #Panathlon #TeamWork #DeafSport
Some fantastic photos of one of our pupils who met the Mayor @mayor_guildford yesterday. A special well done to Oscar for winning an award for his crown design 👏 @Tesco https://t.co/uNwhwK54bW guildfordgrove photo
Year 5 and 6 had a great session with Chloe from @official_merrist_wood on Friday. They learnt about a range animals, their habitats and how they make adaptions. #sciencelearning #stemweek #zookeeper https://t.co/WtuCQuYl5J guildfordgrove photo
Can someone @GuildfordBC help us sort out an issue outside our school? The bus stop on Southway which all our pupils have to pass is currently displaying a very scary poster for a film called Black Phone. It is scaring our younger pupils and we ask that it is changed immediately.
It was wonderful to welcome around 80 teachers from across our academy trust @LearningPartns for some writing moderation today. #workingtogether #guildford #academytrust https://t.co/dRO4IuaX9n guildfordgrove photo
