Guildford Grove is a two-form entry primary school, with a maintained nursery, and a Specialist Centre for deaf children. Our school opened in September 2001 in an extensively refurbished and extended school building.
Today, Guildford Grove celebrated our delayed World Book Day. Everyone gathered outside on the playground this morning for a parade to celebrate all the fantastic costumes. We had music, dancing, cheering and many many smiles! We think the adults enjoyed it too. #worldbookday https://t.co/wsDFUv0bG6
Year 1&2 have had the most exciting afternoon today. Graham, who rescues hedgehogs, brought Harry the hedgehog to school today. Graham told us all about hedgehogs, how to look after them and what we can do to protect our wonderful native creature. #hedgehogrescue #animalrescue https://t.co/RRmBU3c21m

The Lighthouse pupils had a wonderful day at Alice Holt forest! We enjoyed a range of activities including hunting for camouflaged ‘woolly worms’, a scavenger hunt and a minibeast hunt. We found ground beetles, wood louse, aphids, centipedes, worms and slugs! @ForestryEngland https://t.co/czCbeCVCVf
